Terms and Conditions

1. General


1.1 The ‘Hirer’ means the person named on the invoice.


1.2 The company is 'Flossy Frills Inc " also known as "Flossy Frills".


1.3 Provisional bookings will be held for 3 days before deposit is due. If a deposit is not paid within 3 days of submitting a booking request, your date will not be secured and will be made available again to those on our waiting list.


1.4 Completion of a booking form and payment of a deposit on acceptance by Flossy Frills constitutes a binding contract.


1.5 We regret we are unable to accept bookings from anyone under 18 years of age.


1.6Hire price includes delivery within a 30 mile radius of our Oklahoma City base.


1.7 Out of area bookings can be arranged subject to availability and an additional cost to be determined by distance.


1.8 Flossy Frills accepts no responsibility or liability for damage or theft to any property during the duration of the hire period.


1.9 Flossy Frills accepts no responsibility or liability for damage or injury to any member of your party that may occur whilst you are in occupation of Flossy Frills equipment.


1.10The Hirer is responsible for ensuring adequate space is available for the equipment to be set up and arranged. The space required for one 5 meter bell tent is 7 meter x 7 meter flat area of real grass (can not be pitched on artificial grass), free from overhanging trees, pathways, garden furniture and play equipment). Flossy Frills will not refund in full or in part the monies paid in the event that adequate space is not available to set up the equipment which the Hirer has confirmed on the Booking Form.


1.12 Smoking and pets are not permitted inside of our bell tent, or in proximity of , linens, pillows, or rugs. However, disabled assistance dogs (e.g. guide dogs, hearing dogs etc) are welcome by prior arrangement.



2. Flossy Frills Undertakings


2.1 Flossy Frills will deliver, erect and furnish your bell tent/teepees/picnic/rented equipment, to the agreed location on the first day of the commencement of your booking. Flossy Frills will deliver, setup event décor and furnishing specified for your booking. 


2.2 Flossy Frills will dismantle and remove all equipment from your event location on the day of termination of your hire period.


2.3 While Flossy Frills will do everything possible to ensure set up is at the agreed time and date, no responsibility or liability can be accepted for delays due to road accidents, severe traffic problems, or weather conditions. 


2.4 Flossy Frills shall use all reasonable endeavors to provide the services in accordance with the contract and shall perform the services with reasonable skill, care and diligence.


2.5 It is the responsibility of the Hirer to inform guests accordingly of the above terms and conditions.


2.6 We use quality products and follow strict hygiene and disinfecting routines.


2.7 All persons using Flossy Frills equipment do so at their own risk and it is the party hirer who is responsible / liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of inappropriate use or misuse or reckless use.


2.8 This information is given for the safety of all people attending a party hosted by Flossy Frills and it is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that they are understood and adhered to by all party guests invited.



3. Payment


3.1 A $100 non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking for events and $50 for picnics and hotel romance. This amount will be deducted from your balance due upon full payment of balance. 


3.2 The balance of the payment for your event or setup is due 2 weeks for events and 2 days before picnic and hotel romance bookings. 



4. Cancellation



4.1 Your booking will be treated as cancelled if the balance is not received by us by the date specified on the booking form or unless alternate payment terms have been agreed. 


4.2 If you wish to cancel your booking once you have paid your initial deposit please notify us immediately. In these circumstances your initial deposit is non returnable and any contract is rendered void. In some cases your deposit can be transferred to a later date. 


4.3 If you cancel once you have paid the full cost of your event, we are unable to return any monies to you, we will do our best to offer a credit for a later booking date if possible. 


4.4 In the event of extreme or adverse weather conditions making it impossible to erect the bell tent, Flossy Frills cannot accept any responsibility or liability for losses or other costs incurred as a result. In this situation we will work with you to offer you an alternative site/date, where/when possible.


4.5 Flossy Frills reserves the right to cancel your event booking at any time. In the unlikely event of this happening, a full refund will be made, however Flossy Frills will not accept responsibility or liability for losses or any other costs incurred as a result.


4.6 Should your chosen location cancel or terminate your booking for any reason whatsoever, no refund will be given by Flossy Frills. In this case, please contact us as a matter of urgency and we will do our utmost to help you find an alternative site.



5. Health and Safety


5.1 Flossy Frills operate a STRICT NO SMOKING policy inside our bell tent.


5.2 Candles with flames are not permitted in the proximity of Flossy Frills equipment. Battery operated candles/lights will be provided.


5.3 For your protection and safety, cooking is prohibited inside our bell tent.


5.4 Fire pits and BBQ’s should be sited a safe distance from our bell tent and should not be left unattended.


5.5 The Hirer is responsible for providing Flossy Frills staff with all relevant medical/dietary information for all the guests attending the party. We take no responsibility for allergies (including skin, food, materials etc.) where we are not advised in advance of the condition. We are likewise not responsible at any point, for the welfare of the guests at the parties, which remains the full responsibility of the hirer. The hirer must ensure the safe use of our hire equipment, it should not be climbed on or moved after it has been set up. Bunting and lighting can represent a risk of strangulation and the children must be supervised at all times when the decoration is displayed.


5.6 It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure that children are supervised at all times. Flossy Frills will charge the hirer for the costs of any damage to any property caused by your breach of this clause. It is the Hirers responsibilities to ensure the children comply with all reasonable instructions from Flossy Frills to ensure the safety of the attendees and other persons present.

Broken/Damaged Teepee Frame - $40


 Broken/tangled Fairy Lights - $8 per set


Damage/irremovable stains on rugs - $30


Damage/Missing cushions - $15 each


Missing props- $3-$15 per prop


Damaged/Tear/Irremovable stains from bell tent canvas - $150


Damaged/Tear/Irremovable stains from bell tent groundsheet - $50


Damaged/Broken bell tent center pole - $60


Damaged/Broken bell tent a frame - $60


Damaged/Broken bell tent guy rope - $12
